Thank you to our Partners!

Austin Upcycle Challenge Partners

We couldn’t do this without the concerted effort of our partners. Most notably, Austin Goodwill.  They donated the space, tents and their expertise.  Austin Creative Reuse is  provided a kids’ project (making a Father’s Day card) at the event and helped with the volunteer effort.  Re-Sourcery has helped with the impetus and communications for the event. Finally, we want to thank Austin Zero Waste Alliance as that group is ready with advice and know-how on who to go to in Austin concerning zero waste.  THANK YOU!

Going down to the Austin Goodwill Outlet Store Parking Lot- see you there!

Austin Upcycle ChallengeWe are going down to the Austin Goodwill Outlet Store on Burleson to make some magic! If you want to participate – come on down and sign in.  If you want to volunteer- we have spots open!  Hope to see you all there!  Look for the big tent in the back parking lot. The challenge starts at 9 am and judging is at 1:30 pm.  Sweet!

Austin Upcycle Challenge- Saturday June 15th Goodwill Outlet Store Parking Lot

Austin Upcycle ChallengeAll upcycling, “found-art” artists, and DIY’ers are invited to participate in the inaugural Austin Upcycle Challenge!  Bring your tools, creativity and DIY skills.  We are challenging artists to take the end-of-the-line material at Austin Goodwill Outlet Store and make something useful!  Or beautiful- or both!  The challenge starts at 9 am and the judging at 1:30 pm.  We will have tables, extra material for binding – but it would be good to bring your own.  Sign up here or come on down and sign up the day of the event.  We dare you!
